The recent
Marketing Lions event, held both in person and virtually, brought together over 300 Lions from around the world, all eager to learn how to market Lionism more effectively. With expert presentations on cutting-edge marketing tools, AI integration, and creative strategies, the event was a resounding success, sparking excitement and energy across the Lions network.
The event, which took place in early July, was led by none other than
2nd International Vice President Mark Lyon, who took a hands-on approach to teaching Lions how to amplify their impact through marketing. With a series of informative sessions, the event focused on empowering Lions to reach broader audiences and attract new members using modern tools and techniques.
A Masterclass in Marketing LionismVice President Lyon opened the event with a dynamic presentation on the importance of embracing new technologies and marketing strategies to propel Lionism forward in today’s fast-paced world. “The more visible we are, the more we can serve,” he said. “Our mission is too important to stay in the shadows—Lionism must be at the forefront of community service, and that starts with marketing ourselves better.”
The event featured key segments on the following topics:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Marketing: A presentation on how Lions can leverage AI to streamline and enhance their outreach efforts. From AI-driven content creation to predictive marketing analytics, attendees learned how to harness the power of AI to tailor their messages and maximize their reach.
Marketing Grants: An in-depth discussion on how Lions Clubs can apply for marketing grants to boost their campaigns. The session covered available grant opportunities, how to apply, and best practices for using grant funds to achieve long-lasting marketing success.
Canva for Creativity: A hands-on workshop that guided Lions through the use of Canva, a user-friendly graphic design platform. Attendees were shown how to create eye-catching visuals, social media posts, and other promotional materials that reflect the Lions’ mission of service.

Lions Virtual YouTube page, where Lions from all corners of the globe continued to engage with the content.
